Questions before you start.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. Open the terminal and look around with limited access. A free account adds a price or metric alert and a watchlist synced across your devices, and Pro Trader unlocks everything else. No credit card is needed for the free account.
Can it place trades?
No. Onchain Terminal is an analytics and intelligence platform. It does not execute trades and never asks for exchange keys or withdrawal permissions. All data is read-only.
Where does the data come from?
Derivatives data — funding, open interest and liquidations — comes from Binance, Bybit, OKX and Hyperliquid. Spot prices and market caps come from CoinGecko, and headlines from multiple news APIs. No exchange account is needed.
Are alerts delivered in real time?
Price alerts are checked every minute against live exchange data and delivered in the browser, by email or on Telegram, on every plan. Pro Trader adds unlimited alerts and several conditions in one alert.
Can I cancel Pro Trader at any time?
Yes, from your account settings. You keep access until the end of the current billing period, with no cancellation fees.
What can the AI analyst do?
Ask about any coin, chart or page and the answer opens in a side panel. It can explain what a widget is showing, write a daily market brief, analyze the wallets behind whale trades, and add AI Insights to your notes. Useful answers save to Trader Notes with the numbers attached.
Which AI model does it use, and what does it read?
We use the latest Claude models. The analyst reads everything the terminal has: prices, funding, open interest and liquidations, whale trades and wallets, ETF flows and on-chain series. Answers are market analysis, not financial advice.
